    ....my 13 year old son told me he was proud of me. This definitely gives me the strength to stick with it and rid myself of the final 9lbs.

    what a sweet kid, and what a great example you are setting for him - not just about a healthy lifestyle, as important as that is, but also setting a goal and sticking to it and acheiving it is such an important life lesson too.

    Your son has inspired me to go and tell my Dad I'm proud of him! He's lost a lot of weight and I know he's been trying very hard!
