I didn't have any self worth issues and I didn't have a weight problem. But I didn't have a boyfriend until the summer after my junior year in college. I was 21. It all worked out fine. I got married at 26 (to my 3rd boyfriend), and have been married now for 21+ years.
Don't let not being part of the flurry get you down. You'll find someone, you'll see. |
Hugs! So many of these ladies have given you great perspectives on things.
I'm going to come at it from a different place, and probably one that won't help (lol I'm sure you're thrilled to hear that). I work at an alternative high school. So many of our students have kids or are expecting kids when they come to us. Or are in just really horrible relationships because they're so young and naive and inexperienced and just don't know any better. Honestly, I think you've dodged a bullet not dating in high school. I "dated" in high school, and it was pointless. The "relationships" were short lived and shallow and I didn't learn anything about REAL relationships from them. Obviously everyone has a different experience, but that was mine. I think you will be JUST FINE! BIG HUGS! |

Everyone starts where you are, everyone starts with no experience, and everyone worries. Once you start feeling a little more confident, it'll be a non-issue. Just know you aren't alone and nothing is wrong with you! |
