HUGE (for me) NSV today!!!

I'm so excited! I started c25k a little over a month ago because I've always wanted to be able to run but have never been able to, even when I was young and in much better shape. Today was my first 9 minute interval and I ran the whole 9 minutes! That might not seem like much but that is longer than I've been able to run - ever. The first time in my life I was able to make it past 6 minutes. So I just had to share with people who would know what a big deal that is - my husband is sweet and he knows it's a big deal to me but he's always been in shape so he doesn't quite get it.

ZOMG :D :D :D :D :D :D

That is AWESOME! And this is DEFINITELY a big deal. I vividly remember struggling through 30 seconds, much less 9 whole minutes. Great work! You should be incredibly proud of yourself!!!

That's insanely awesome. I totally feel for you. I was exactly like that. :D
It may seem difficult, but when I got to that point, I was able to push myself and keep going for 28 minutes. If you just focus and endure, you'll get a runner's high and go for a lot longer!
Of course, I've stopped running, so I probably can't anymore, but still! Just keep going and you'll be an amazing runner one day!

I am a c25k graduate.I can understand exactly how you feel. Just imagine how you will feel when you run the 30 minutes! Ah, the sense of accomplishing something previously impossible! :)

That's a huge accomplishment! I graduated from C25K in May 2011 and loved it! My advice? Keep running... I finished the program then kind of lost the motivation to run and lost my stamina. I need to redo the program now. lol
