I suggest seeing a nutritionist.
It worked for me, to have a professional sit down with me and assess my food intake, exercise, goal weight, etc. |

I personally don't own a scale any more because it doesn't matter what the scale says.
I understand why many people will disagree but I personally use a body fat measuring device called a caliper and use that about once a week on different parts of my body where I tend to accumulate fat. The reason I do this is because the scale doesn't measure body fat and body fat percentage is the only thing I care about. As to losing more fat - you don't say you're looking for advice but I'm sure we could give you some if had more information. Losing the last few lbs is very difficult for most people. |

I use MFP to gauge my cal allowance. I exercise 5-6 days a week with Jillian's Ripped In 30 using 5 and 10p weights; other days I jog for minimum 40-60 minutes. I sometimes eat back my extra workout cals, sometimes I don't. Depends how hungry I am that day.

I think that at this stage you need to track measurements and not weight.

Hang in there and try to step back and figure it out without letting temporary discouragement get to you! |

JohnP, I agree with ditching the scale it drives me batty...I don't know why I (and most other people) obsess over a number but I just do. It's like wanting to see your progress in stone. For some reason we trust a scale more than a measuring tape. Totally irrational, I know. Thanks everyone, I just wanted to blow off steam somewhere. :) |
