I had the same type of moment. It was my son's 3rd birthday and my hubby wanted to take a pic of me and my little guy. It was HOT and I just wanted to get inside but I said ok. I took the pic and looked at it later and was in so much shock. It didn't even look like me! I had thought I looked so fun and cute but in that pic... well... I looked like an angry fat woman. Which I was. Not angry at anyone but myself. I couldn't believe how big I was. That was 4 years ago and I am still truckin' along. I lost 40lbs. then had my second child and now I'm down to the lowest I can remember being in a LONG time. It's been slow, stop and go over the last year, but I'm going down. And that's what you have to do. You have to make the choice to change that picture to a healthier version of you. Because that is all it is -- a picture. It doesn't tell your whole story of who you are, what you do, what you've been through... it's just a visual. And thankfully, it's a visual we can change! So, stop beating yourself up and change it if you want to. One little change at a time and one day at a time. ((hugs))
