I'm really sorry that happened to you - I've had it happen to me as well and I've NEVER forgotten it - and I probably never will.
Someone could call me ugly or a mean or stupid or any name in the book and I would totally be able to blow it off...but call me fat and I die inside...it's awful but true. Just remember that person has some issues to have to yell Sh*t out of a moving car at you - and that karma is a B*TCH!!! |
As a PP said, the quickest way for people to knock a woman down is to call her fat. My best friend has a sister that is very skinny, a runner and generally very healthy. But if someone calls her fat she's in tears for hours. My arm is bigger than her thigh.
This woman obviously has issues. 1. She can't follow simple driving rules to indicate where she's going to go. Those indicators are there to make others around you aware of your next move. She obviously thinks her time is more valuable and she's more special than everyone else. She's sorely mistaken. 2. She felt the need to put you down to compensate for her own insecurities. Those than need to hurt anyone, especially strangers, just to make themselves feel better will likely lead very miserable, lonely lives. Thank your lucky stars you don't have people in your life like that and you have the sense to laugh at her, although maybe not immediately. It still hurts but SHE's the one with the issues, NOT you. |
I'm so sorry someone did that to you. For some reason, people think it's ok to bully people about their weight. I've noticed online on comments sections on news about obesity etc. that many of the commenters will say terrible things about overweight folks and it's appalling. I'm sorry it happened to you and hope you are able to shake it off.

That's horrible, I'm sorry. That person is an ***. A really shitty insecure *** and you are beautiful! I know it's still going to hurt but just remember that. :)

 That's really all I can say. Don't let that cranky b*tch get to you. She's gonna know one day how it feels to be insulted that way. What goes around comes around right?

People are jerks usually because they're unhappy with themselves. You have to be a miserable person to yell that out to someone! I think that would get to anyone, so don't feel bad that it affected you. The important thing is, you're not letting it stop you and what you want to accomplish.
