Yes, I'm a good $$$ budgeter and calorie counter as well; you may just have something there, SUE. I'm also very organized and love planning things out as well; I'm sure all that helps me in my weight-loss journey too. :D

Let me guess which of you have your holidays organized & shopping done before Dec 1 & your tax refunds in hand by Feb . . . . :D

(Just please don't tell me you were one of those kids reminding the teacher when s/he forgot a quiz or homework!)

I've never made that connection in my mind before, but I do budget money carefully and enjoy the process of recording and planning spending and saving. Calorie counting is also what works best for me for weight loss.

Im horrible at organization even with money, and Im horrible with keeping track of my calories too.
Guess it is all just habit!

I have a rough idea in my head of my finances and I'm not generally surprised when I check. This is also how I calorie count.. I just have a very rough idea. Good point so!

Interesting! :)

I'm a budget-minded list maker and tracking calories/weight and planning meals is pretty easy for me.

In daily life I get get stressed out :fr: if I don't have lists to keep me organized. Same with diet ... if I don't plan, I don't do well.

Having said that, I have no excuse for gaining/regaining weight. :p :D

I don't think it was a coincidence that I paid off all of our credit card debt while I also lost weight. Maybe I finally decided to grow up? I put on my big girl panties and got 'er done.

I don't consider myself overly organized and don't make daily lists but I do for bigger projects. But I just realized that I have a list in front of me that says I need to make some other lists of things I want to accomplish over the next couple of months. Ok, I also usually make a loose meal plan for the week--in list format. I usually grocery shop--with a list. Maybe I'm more organized than I thought...

Thanks for all the feedback! I think it makes sense that planners have an easier time of it, but the link honestly hadn't occurred to me before the conversation with DD. It's interesting to hear everyone's experiences.
