Nope, it isn't just you. I'm a pretty low stress person, so it rarely happens, but there are few things more productive than using high emotions or tension to fuel something, instead of just drive us nuts!
This is one of the main reasons I work out, I'm kind of an emotionally charged, anxious person and working out makes me feel so much better. I like to work out in the evening for this reason, I can burn off the stress of my day.

Yeah, I've always found that when I'm pissed off about something, I tend to go all out. I've also found, though, that angry music helps, even when *I'm* not particularly angry. I'm not an Eminem fan, but man, he is AWESOME for a workout. That guy is pissed at the WORLD. *L*
I find that sometimes I go into a workout feelings really beat down or angry and by the end I've bullied my body and mind into a better place.
I think as long as you're not taking out the anger on yourself–Why can't I lift more today? Why can't I run faster? Why am I no more flexible? Why am I feeling so tired today?–then anger or stress is a great workout booster!
Oh, yeah. And then it's all good because the anger goes away with exercising. Otherwise it'd probably be frustration binge eating all the way. Or taking it out on others. (Although anger isn't the feeling that makes me the most prone to eating, but I sure can't allow it to let it interfere with my job, for instance, so might as well get it out in a healthy way.)
