Good ways to celebrate?

  • So I've been bouncing between 202 and 201 for a while now, but I was 201 for a few days in a row now so I have a good feeling that 201 is finally sticking and I can start hoping for 200 soon. At any rate it got me thinking that 199 is only 2 pounds away! I wanna celebrate being under 200 (even if by only 1 pound), but I obviously don't wanna do it with food. I haven't been under 200 for maybe 4 or 5 years. I thought me and my boyfriend could go out and do something, but I have no idea what. I've considered a movie, but I thought maybe you guys might have better ideas than just a movie. So, does anyone have any cool ideas?
  • My plan for a onederland treat is an afternoon horseback riding at a local ride on the beach place i havent been on a horse in probably 13ish years. I havent been under 200lbs for probably almost the same amount of time lol
  • Go bowling
    or~
Go on a calorie planned picnic

  • I wish I could go horseback riding on a beach! I'm 8 hrs away from the closest beach lol. Bowling could be fun...I sorta suck tho lol. I definitely like the picnic idea we'd just have to find a pretty spot to go. I have a feeling my bf would complain about bugs...there's so many here when it starts getting hot. I'm used to it but he's not lol
  • I've been buying myself beads for my Pandora bracelet for every 25 pounds lost. I also have a special "onederland" bead sitting in a drawer just waiting for me to earn it. I've had that darn bead since St Paddy's Day. Maybe this week.
  • Riddy - that's fun! I would do something more like that if I had income lol. I'm a broke college kid so my celebrations have to be pretty cheap lol
  • Movie sounds like a great idea! I usually celebrate by going shopping, though that's not very good for my budget. How about going for a massage or get your nails done at a salon? Pamper yourself, spa day maybe?
  • Ohhh a spa day would be amazing. I've never gotten a professional massage and I'd really like one. I'll have to look into it and see how much they cost...I've always assumed pretty expensive lol. I'm thinking if I see a movie i'll make the BF go to whichever one I wanna see. He's usually against chick flicks but maybe he'll make an exception to celebrate with me lol

Check Groupon.com and livingsocial.com (we have a few more that are local to us, but those are national sites) for great deals on things like massages. I think I get an offer almost every other day for a massage 50-70% off.
  • How about a manicure / pedicure? Or massage? Or some fun outing like indoor skydiving or one of those trampoline places like House of Air!
