Thought it was a tumor!!!

Okay, stupid story of the day. I stepped out of the shower and there was this huge bump by my elbow. I hadn't noticed it before and immediately did the OMG double take. I touched it and guess what....it was actually the bone around my elbow. Haven't actually seen that in almost 30 years!!! The little surprises on this journey never cease to amaze me....:)

WHOOP WHOOP!! Congrats on your NS Victory!!!! Those are the BEST!!!!

:carrot::carrot::D

P.S. In the words of AHHHHNOLD Swartzenagger - "It's not a tumor"!!

I heard Arnold, too! Haha!

What an excellent NSV, bones are the best thing to 'discover' on oneself again, and far preferable to a tumor ;)

:rofl:

So funny! Such a cool NSV!!

I had a "tumor" moment with a newly enlarged calf muscle a few months ago. Haha!

Congratulations; that's a very cute NSV!

When I was losing I felt these weird things on my upper chest one day in the shower. When I got out and looked in the mirror I realized they were my collarbones starting to emerge! I felt like an idiot, but I hadn't seen or felt them in over twenty years.

Enjoy your new elbow bone; it's just the start!

Haha - love it! I've had a few shock discoveries - great fun, aren't they? :D

Congrats!!!! It's so weird when the bones we haven't felt in years start showing themselves again. Enjoy your NSV!!!

Bahahahaha, oh my god, I thought I was the only one who had that happen. I freaked out one morning in the shower after finding not one, but TWO huge "tumours". I actually made an emergency appointment with my doctor to get checked out. She took one look and went, ".....Those are your hipbones. Go home, for the love of God." Ahahahaha, it's not that they're *prominent* or anything, but for the first time I could actually feel them, you know? :D

Hahaha I wish I could have seen your doctors face that day.

Bones are a good kind of tumor.

It reminds me of the time one of the young staff members at canoe tripping camp thought there was something wrong with his arms. A couple of other male staff members informed him that the lump was called a tricep. He was a skinny kid and didn't have much muscle mass, but paddling and portaging all day really builds up the arms and shoulders quickly
