losing weight TOO quickly? eh

so i've been dieting on and off basically since last year. kind of just free form, watching what i eat kind of thing. and i lost slowly but surely. it's not until the beginning of this month (coincidentally after i discovered this board) i started really counting calories. i'm using myfitnesspal and i entered all my info (starting weight 210) and chose that i wanted to lose 2 lbs a week, and it came up with 1280 cals per day. i've done all the BMR calculations and it seems pretty on track with under 1300 cals a day. i've only recently starting exercising as of last week (i only did about 2 hrs of cardio). but now i'm down to a little under 190. i'm wondering if this little amount of calories could set me up for failure? i'm thrilled about losing weight but i'm wondering if i should up my calories? i feel okay with the 1280, not hungry, i mostly fill up on protein and fiber. but without counting calories i know i could go well over this number, even on a modest day of eating. i'm just thinking about how every one says slow and steady is the way to go. thanks guys!

With that amount of weight loss it is usually in the first month that it goes that fast then it will slow down. I think it depends on the person but if it is working for you then stick with it. There will be times you need to adjust things and it will be clear. Maybe someone else has better advice but I say keep it up.

Alot of people experience a big "Woosh" when first starting out so I wouldn't worry about how much you've lost recently. I do think you should up your calories a bit though. Your body will eventually stall and when that happens, you won't be able to really drop your calories since your already pretty low. But you have said you feel full on on what you are eating so not completely sure... xD
