Default Steps to Victory :DD But can I get some tips on how soon I'll reach my goal?

Hi, everyone! I'm kinda new to this. But I wanted to say that I've dropped 15 pounds c: I started at 250 and I'm not 235. My goal is 150. I was wondering when I'd be able to reach it. Is it possible to achieve that by November? And at least 200 by July?

Hi and welcome! Yes, I would say that is achievable - but so much depends on your body. Some people naturally lose faster and some slower. I am not a fan of setting deadlines on weight loss goals because I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. However I totally am a planner and have all kinds of graphs of my weight loss and "predictions" of where I will be on significant dates. These have changed as I have gone along and I am ok with that.

Congrats on 15 so far!! No matter where you are by July or November, if you stick with your plan you will be closer to your goal! Good luck!

That's the truth! [: My boyfriend is coming to visit (we're in a long distance relationship), so I wanted to surprise him with my revamped lifestyle. ^-^ I'm now in my 18's! I'm trying my best to get into a 16 pant size. But i'm so proud of myself. Thanks for the encouragement!

It's doable, but keep in mind that your weight loss will very likely fluctuate throughout the process. Sometimes you'll see no weight loss sometimes you'll see lots. You're off to a great start already! Are you following a plan?

I'm starting a plan I made for myself. I try to go to the gym 5-6 times a week, alternating muscle tone days. On the days when I don't do muscle, I run on the elliptical machine for around 30 minutes, burning about 300-350 calories, and then walk about 3 laps on the track to get my heart rate stable again. When I do muscle tone, I use the elliptical for about 15 minutes then rotate on the weight machines. I'm slowly lowering my caloric intake every few months. I started at 1500, now I'm down to 1400 and I give myself one day to cheat, eating a little over the amount I've set for myself. [:

Sounds like a workable plan. Be careful not to go too low on calories. You're at a pretty good level between 1300-1600 with your stats. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
