Goodmorning all!
Hope everyone is having a great day so far. :)
I don't have much time to get personal so I will make this quick. My day is going pretty good. Dh woke me up to breakfast on the table (he can be so sweet sometimes) and now of course I have his mess to clean up! lol. My living room looks like a tornado hit it last night so I need to pick that up and vaccum... blah blah blah. You know, normal house work. I can't believe it is Friday already! This week has flown by. My midwife appointment is this wednesday and I am anxious about it. I think my uterus is measuring even further lately. Right now it should be 3 centimeters above my belly button but when I locate it it's much higher than that. Sometimes they do extra ultrasounds when that happens to make sure you don't have excess amniotic fluid, I'm hoping they do! I would love to see how much he has grown!!
Well, I've been on here long enough. Guess I'll go. Talk to you all later!

Good afternoon!!!!!
Yesterday was a monster........what I thought was going to be an easy afternoon ended up difficult, but I survived just fine, albeit a wee bit frazzled.

Spryng- try not to worry too much about how high you are carrying- all 3 of my babies I carried high- and that is just how I carry. For each the Dr suspected twins....... (I had 3 different Dr's) and all was just fine. So, unless your midwife or a Dr gets upset about it try not to. Yes, I know that is hard to do...... What a sweet Dh, making breakfast for you!!!!! He just had to show off how great your new kitchen looks and functions eh????
Enjoy it!!

Melissa- well, you are gaining weight for the only good reason in the world!!!! And besides, after doing so well on WW, you will do just fine getting back on it when you are ready, after the baby. Relax and enjoy the pregnancy!!! We are all pulling for you (and you too Spryng!).

As for me and eating, it has been a bit tough.....TOM is just around the corner, and chocolate seems so appealing. Yes, I have had some, but have stayed within my points range. (and that is why I love WW). Ok, so it is not the most nutritional of all foods...........

I doubt that I will get a walk in today, the weather is crummy- and with everyone home, both TV's are in use so I can't get to Leslie Sansone either. I'll live, I walked 4 out of 5 days this week.

Guess I had better go unload the dishwasher.

Have a great weekend!!!!!
Ginny

Good evening all!

Ginny you are doing so good. You even got frazzled and still stayed within your point range. That is fantastic! And you are right about me carrying high. I'm not worried about it. I just thought it might give me an opportunity to get another U/S out of the deal. Since my uterus is measuring so much further than I am. But I'll know more about that on wednesday.
Well gals... my kitchen is finally...completely...utterly...FINISHED! We polyurethaned the cabinets last night and today I hund two new shelves up and put some nice items on them and such and now it looks complete. Ahhhhh... (sigh of relief) it's perfect. For me anyway. :) I'm going to take some pictures but I don't have a digital camera or scanner to post them. But I'll save them and as soon as I can I'll post some. We are talking about buying a new scanner soon.
My day has been good. No complaints. Hope everyone elses day has went well too and their weekend is long and relaxing. (is that a lot to ask?) lol I'll talk to you all later!

Good morning!!!!
Just a quick hello.......I am really tired and am most likely going to take a nap in a few minutes.

Spryng-well congrats on your kitchen being done! I think you and Dh got that job done in record time. It sounds lovely, and I am glad that you are so happy with it. That is really all that matters!

My weekend was short and not too relaxing...........(sorry about to borrow your verbage, Spryng, but it fit so well!)
Yesterday we went to church-then Dh and our two oldest went to see Dd's boyfriend play a basketball game (section finals), while our youngest and I went to visit my mother. She was in a great mood and the visit went well, it just made for a hectic day.
Then to top it all off with that Dd has a sore throat and low grade fever.........then her brother woke up not feeling so great so both of them are home today. Nice, however, because I was able to keep both of them home and still drive this morning.
I did get up at 5 am for a walk.....gee it was so cold- something like -8 with the wind chill.
Guess I had better go see how my sickies are doing. Have a great day.

Just came online to check out what Ds's math homework was......he seems to be ok- a bit weak but functional enough to play Playstation. (can't be all that sick). Dd is at 102 right now- so I guess I am staying home tomorrow.
Have a good evening!!

Hi!

This will be short. Just wanted to let Ginny know that I'm in the same boat as she! DS is home sick with the same thing as your two & I have also came down with it!
Ginny: Send me a private message with your home address & I will be happy to send you out a catalog! :) Well, I have to scoot & get dd ready for school. TTFN!

A short good morning!!!!!!!
I still have two sickies here........and I might be fighting it. I did drive this am, only because Ds was still home- he will be 14 in two weeks, and should be able to stay with his 7 year old sister for an hour or two........I think!!

Jackie- sorry that this illness has invaded your house and that you have it too! Drink lots of liquids.....and get some rest (I know, that is hard for you the ever busy one!). And please take your meds! (nag, nag). I hope that you are feeling better soon.

Have a great day!

Hi gang!

I dont have much time either!

I have been trying to play catchup with all sorts of stuff. I got a big contract with one of the pattern companies and I am just trying to get caught up so that I can meet my deadline!

I havent lost any weight this week, but havent gained either... so that is good!

Congrats Ginny on your W/I! Spryng, your kitchen sounds wonderful.... I promise to get back with you all soon!

spryng 03-04-2003 06:08 PM

Good afternoon all!
I hope Ginny and Jackie and their families are feeling better. Thankfully spring is just around the corner and colds and such will be gone (for awhile anyway) :)
I haven't been up to much. I have my midwife appointment tomorrow and I'll let you all know how it goes. Should be the regular though... weigh in, blood pressure, uterus measurements and heartbeat. So it should be a quick visit. But I look forward to them anyway. Other than that all is well here. Been battling my hormones lately. Been kinda emotional. DH brought that to my attention last night after I bit his head off about the remote control. OOPS. Blame it on the pregnancy lol. I feel better today but I know I am borderline crazy. Anything will set me off right now. But I'm controling it. I haven't felt like this in a long time and I don't like it. But the good news is it will pass.
Well, I got dinner going on the stove so I better go check on it. Talk to you gals later!

Good evening!
I never thought that I would get back online today, but I just came from a village board meeting regarding a development in our town......and it is late and I am wide awake. So I thought I'd check in for a quick hello.

Karen- I am so glad that you stopped by to say hello! That contract with the pattern company sounds exciting! I hope that it is a real success for you!

Spryng- good luck with your midwife appointment tomorrow! It is always to wonderful to hear that heartbeat. I hear ya as far as the hormones go.......2 out of 3 of my pregnancies I lost it with MIL- who deserved it anyway.......but noone ever ever ever says "no" to her and with my preggy hormones, well I was not afraid to do so! (didn't make Dh a happy camper........either!) I know that it is hard, try to stay calm. A big hug to you!

Well, tomorrow is my WI. I will try to get there, and take Dd with me who spiked at 102 again this afternoon. Looks like a sick day for me, as Ds will be going to school tomorrow.

I had better go try to get some rest. See ya tomorrow!
Nite!

Just a quick hello!

My mom has been here, and just left this morning! We've been getting my house straightened out and organized for the baby. Wow, so much to do, but we really put a dent in it! I still haven't put the babys room together but we do have the baby bed and dresser. I figured it's here, so all we have to do is take it out of the box!?! Why open it now~ so it can collect dust!?! I'm excited though, and feeling anxious about getting things done, SOON!

I hope you sickies are feeling better!

TTFN
