I've been using my bathroom analog scale and I weigh in my birthday suit right in the morning. I use that scale for the weight I go by.
Different scales give different results, but I remember that clothes and food eaten will add to my weight! I've weighed on two different scales besides the bathroom one since starting my journey:
- The scale at the gym always reads out about 3lbs heavier than my scale at home...but I weigh in the evening, with my clothes and sneakers on. That's probably about 3lbs (or more) so I figure it's pretty accurate.
- My Wii Fit always weighs me in about 8-10lbs lighter than my bathroom scale. It gets an inaccurate reading because I use it on the carpet.
You might want to consider weighing yourself on your usual scale with your clothes on about the same time you would weigh yourself at work (say on a day off). Make sure you've eaten about what you would have eaten on a work day.
The important thing is that you're losing weight! Use the same scale to track your progress
