Fluid On My Knee...OUCH!
I'm assuming it's bursitis (a.k.a. "housemaid's knee"). I know the RICE thing (rest, ice, compression, elevation). I know I can do some upper body strength training--but is there any cardio I can do? Or do I need to sit it out for awhile? If so, how long? :?: Please help!

Gees, I hope this helps....I have quite a bit of pain in my knees from general wear and tear...ie can't do squats or running, but walking fast on the treadmill at a steep incline doesn't hurt. Also some of the leg press machines keep the supporting muscles in condition with very little discomfort.

Thanks! I normally avoid the treadmill because, well, I feel like I'm going to go flying off of it! But brisk walking at an incline would be alright. I could handle that. :) I am nervous about the leg press machines with fluid on my kneecap--seems like maybe it would make my knee swell more??
