I'm a science project! (some silly perspective)
Hi all! What way(s) do you think about your diet (read: lifestyle change) to keep some perspective and motivation? This week, when I want more calories than I have allotted myself, I think, "I'm a science project! If I want to get an A, I have to follow the natural rules of law." If I go over my calorie limit, my "science project" won't progress on target, and my body won't shrink.
What quirky, silly ways to do you think about your diet? |
This is SO cool! And definitely my style. I wish I had thought of something like this rather than the boring tricks of trying to get the scale to move the next day or some bargaining game on what to or not to eat.
I loved this! |
Thanks, HikingChloe! I like to make this into a fun, positive experience. Even if it is hard (which it is), it is still going to be a very rewarding experience, so we might as well enjoy the ride, and respect the process! I'm happy that you were inspired by it, and cheers to you and journey!

I always used to trick myself into thinking just one more day of not eating the foods I want. Like I would tell myself that if I could just get through today(eating healthy), I could eat what I wanted tomorrow. Then I would do the same the next day. It really did work, maybe I will try it again

Nice ideas! Thanks!

Yay for motivational silliness!
