What about squeezing some fresh lemon or lime into it? My aunt likes a little bit of fresh mint in her water. Maybe try something like that? I struggled with drinking water in the beginning but I stopped buying soda and now I'm finally hooked on water. It was really, really hard to do the first week.

Thanks for the advice, sounds great, ill try mint in it :D I would drink volvic touch of fruit but that has calories in it and im counting calories and on a very specific amount of calories.xx

Basically, just keep at it and eventually that is what you will want. :) My sis used to not drink an actual cup of water a day. She had to have a hysterectomy and her surgeon stressed to her how important it was to get at least 64 oz a day of actual water and now she drinks 100 + oz and no sodas and just a bit of tea! She said she loves it now.

A straw really helps. It goes down faster if it's not ice cold. Cucumber gives it a nice flavor too!

You can also buy 0 calorie powdered Propel and add it to your water.

I always make a big pitcher of iced green tea and sip on that all day long. Tastes amazing, no sweetener necessary :)

while I do love water, it sometimes gets really boring. I'll have some Crystal Light iced tea here and there to mix it up :) It makes a great low-calorie drink in the morning too.

You mentioned black tea, how about fruity herbal teas? No calories on their own and often don't need any sweetener. Green and white teas are nice too. I love tea and admittedly get most of my water in, in tea form. One of my favorites is jasmine green tea, lightly sweet and delicate and smells quite lovely.

Here's a link from Walmart http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ct_id=16923601 They have other flavors, too.

Hey! I always use Crystal light, the singles, in various flavors, to mix it up a bit throughout the day. I also made homemade popsicles using crystal light mixed with water, it's a sweet little treat at the end of the night and next to no calories.

I HATED it at first; water tasted gross, was difficult to drunk and made me had to pee all the time. For me, it just got easier bit by bit. I used to drink about 10oz of water a day. I can now drink 10oz in one long gulp if I feel like it. I don't like citrus so I don't add anything to my water. I just fill up my 14oz Nalgene and aim to finish drinking it within 2 hours so I can fill it up again.

Here's another point of view: don't worry about your water intake. If you really like drinking water, then I won't discourage you! And it obviously is important to stay hydrated! Plus, some people find that filling up on water helps them fell full. So I am not discouraging water drinking!

But the recommendations about all the water we're supposed to drink were never based on any real evidence, and I haven't found any research that verifies we need to get all that hydration from actual water... so much of it comes from the food we eat and the other liquids in our diet.

So, if you decide you don't want to drink all that water... you'll still be fine and able to lose weight.
