Yes, Karma is a true b****, and nothing good will come to someone with an attitude as poor as that girl's.
Just chalk it up to a really bad day (we all have them), and keep your head up. |
she's 20 pounds lighter than you. she'll know what you are feeling one day. concentrate on her friend who knew what she was doing was wrong and was embarassed for her

Girls can be utterly vicious, it's easy to pick on someone else's insecurities when we feel bad about ourselves. I've had women be absolutely horrible to me, I called one "the cattiest I'd ever met" and she called me "the fattest she'd ever met." It really hurt my feelings, especially since we were both in a weight loss support group. She constantly picked on my body and told me to "get to the gym". I try to ignore women like that for the most part, because I know they either have issues with themselves, or they're jealous. I still get cat calls and whistles from men when I walk down to the market, so that makes me feel a little better.

I guess I would have gone with "how horrible to be you."
Sorry about the ticket and the mean girl in the bathroom. Don't let her rent space in your head, she's not worth it. I mean, if you stepped in dog poo, it would be yucky to deal with but then it's over. She was just life's dog poo. |
My sympathies. It seems that you had the bad luck of walking into some extremely bored, extremely base individuals. Younger people can be the worst of all, and it probably makes them feel better about themselves. Who knows what factors in their lives cause them to be that way. People who can't find the joy and empathy in their hearts to support others usually have something they dislike about themselves that can only be remedied by put-downs.
