Thinner face, puffy neck
I realize you have zero control over exactly where you lose weight, but I saw a picture of myself taken Friday, and I can see that my face is getting thinner, but it's framed by an oddly puffy neck.
Any ideas what might be causing that, if there's anything I can do about it, or if it's just my body and I'll have to live with it until I get thinner? I should mention that (fairly) recent blood tests don't show any thyroid problems or blood dyscrasias. TIA, Janet |
The more weight you lose, the thinner your neck will become. When I first started losing, I lost it in my face too. My mom who is also losing weight has lost it in her face first too.
Your doing great! Keep on keeping on. |
i was once told that you lose weight from the top to the bottom. idk if its true for everyone, but its definitly true for me. First i see the weight loss in my face, and then it slowly progresses down my body.
your neck will start to catch up with your thinning face soon. And on top of that, im sure its just a matter of perspective. we are our own worst critics. im sure your neck looks fine :) |
Thank you for the answers -- and the perspective! :)
