You can do it, but you need to change your mindset first. |

Rana - I always read online how people should have short term goals and I thought a 1 month goal would be good for me. But I lost all of my weight by just eating healthier and counting calories, not really going by goals. I'm not going to set goals for myself anymore, other than daily ones like you mentioned. Thanks!

You have to stop soothing yourself with food. It's a habit that probably started when you were little--sometimes parents give kids sugar to "shut them up." Bad idea...
But now you have to break that cycle. Whether you're mad, sad, glad, or afraid, food is not the answer to your feelings. Jay |
fat, we have pretty much the same stats, and I think your overview of yourself was a little too critical. You NEED to get out and move around. That is how you will burn calories.
About the jump thing. Have you tried a rebounder? Also called a mini trampoline. Walmart has one by Gold's gym. The rebounder is excellent. It will make you feel revved too because it has a good effect on your mood as well, something about extra circulation to everywhere. Why don't you try that? Less than $40 in my area. Follow all of this good advice. And remember You are "Fearfully and wonderfully made". |
I recommend getting some exercise equipment that doesn't make noise, for example, I used to have a magnetic stationary bike, $100 at Walmart, nearly silent, and I could watch TV while working out.
And give up the All or Noting mentality, that's actually made me gain weight! Weight loss is not a linear process, ups and downs, make little changes, and find BALANCE! Balance in your actions and reactions! |
