Has anyone experienced some hair thinning as a result of fairly rapid weight loss? I've started noticing that my hair is somewhat thinner than it was and am considering going to the doctor to ask about it. But from what I've read online, it can be a side effect of big weight loss. (I've lost 80 pounds since the end of December.)
My current mini goal is 41 lbs in 3 months (I'm 2 months in and 30lbs down)
My doc gave me the go ahead but said that if my hair starts to fall out that I need to eat more protein.
Thanks for the replies. I have thought about eating more protein, and will probably focus on that for a month or so and see if it helps. Especially if I can't find time to get in to see the doc right away!
Oh and I do take a very complete multivitamin
