I signed up for a 5K Fun Run last March and decided that if I could do it in under 45 minutes or win in my age group (55-60) I would get a James Avery running shoe charm for my charm bracelet. That carrot helped me practice for the race, and I did finish in 42 minutes which was first in my age group. So, maybe something like that will motivate you too.

I'd probably buy exercise DVDs, but since you already have enough workout equipment...

the heart-rate monitor suggestion is a good one. food wise, if you don't already have one a good food scale would be nice to buy. these are things that you could use for atleast a couple of years to keep you going on your journey.

workout clothes are the same as regular clothes to me - I don't like buying them until I lose weight or get to goal because even exercise clothes can get too big to wear.

You could buy an "Alli" starter kit. I know some people are against them, and I can't say they make a huge difference in your weight loss, but here are two good aspects:

1) The potential side effect of eating too much fat after taking one will keep you from indulging if you find you -have- to go out socially or engage in a food-centered social activity.

2) It can help break a plateau when you've tried everything else.

Other than that, I'd go to GNC or a local health food shop and invest in a few more expensive "treats" or diet supplements to make it easier to stay on plan

I'd get little things which make a huge difference
A food scale
Containers
Workout DVDS
A pair of ear phones
Then if you have any money left over something nice to wear while working out.

If you are a jewelery wearer... How about a charm bracelet? I'm going to start one... buy the chain now, and each time I reach a weight loss goal I can put a new pretty charm on it.
