Thanks for starting this post. I was just wondering yesterday how many inches people have lost in their journey.
Ok here is mine from the start of making a serious commitment to living healthy but not from my heaviest (260 sometime before Dec 2010). April 07, 2011 Height 5'5" weight 249 Neck 16.25 Bicep 14.25 Forearm 11 Chest 53.75 (at biggest point with a bra on) Waist 47.25 Hips 44.50 Thigh 24.75 Calf 17.5 Aug 06, 2011 Height 5'5" Weight 226 Neck 16 Bicep 12.75 Forearm 10.75 Chest 49.5 (at biggest point with a bra on) Waist 45.5 Hips 42.75 Thigh 24 Calf 16.75 I have the classic PCOS figure with my waist bigger then my hips. |
I didn't measure until I had lost about 15 pounds, but here's what my record says:
Approx. 225 lbs Bust: 46 Waist: 40 Hip: 52 Thigh: 32 Last August - Approx. 200 lbs. Bust: 41.5 Waist: 33.5 Hip: 46 Thigh: 29.5 Now - 159ish lbs. Bust: 37 Waist: 27.5 Hip: 40 Thigh: 25.5 I feel like my top half is quite compact now, but my hips are still pretty big and my thighs are ENORMOUS! |
Well, since I'm so new, I only have my starting measurements xD
5'4" 272 lbs. Chest: 50.5" [40H/I] Waist: 41.5" Hips: 53.5" US Size 22/3X I have sooo much work to do. I can't wait for my hips to measure under 50 inches. |

I am rather new to the measuring myself thing. I have no feeling for what's small and what isn't.
Starting weight 156.5 Current weight: 142.2 My current measurements are: Thigh: 26 inch Hips: 38.5 inch Belly above navel: 32 inch Belly below navel: 34 inch Ribcage: 31,5 inch Calf: 16 inch I've lost 14lbs, but almost all of it has gone from my upper body. I really start noticing it there slowly but surely. |
After my first month anniversary, I measured. I'm down 22lbs and have lost 17 inches.
The first set of numbers is at 260, the second at 240!
