What positive reactions have you received as a result of your weight loss?
 

Today I saw one of my Mom's friends and she said I looked awesome and I felt so great because of it!

One of the greatest encouragements was actually last year when I dropped down to 177 lbs. One of my brothers who rarely gives out compliments and is very honest told me that he could tell I had lost weight but what was most striking was how pretty I was. I was never really thin as an adult so I really do not know what I would look like as a thin woman. I seriously almost cried that was like the greatest compliment.

i dont know what i will look like thin either...i think my face will be less round, although it's been round since childhood...im within 10 pounds of the lowest weight i've seen in adulthood, lowest being 198, and so i'm feeling "skinny" but i know i'm not there yet...trying to break my hardest set point weight right now, in the 205s

Even though I'm struggling right now and have gained back weight, I still get positive reactions.

I've been called "skinny" several times in the past half year (I've never, EVER been called that by anyone, even when I was thinner as a child). Which I still LOVE.

Just today I got hit on twice at the store, and got a few more once overs.

I feel more comfortable in my skin now than I did at any weight heavier than this, but I definitely feel SO much better about 20 lbs lighter than I am now.
