I've never been a fast loser before so I'm amazed at how quick the losses have been so far on my current plan (the Dukan diet). Today was 6 weeks and I'm down 20 lbs. I don't expect this pace to last forever, although I'm certainly grateful for it!!
I am doing the Dukan diet too and I have lost about 14 pounds (6.1kg) and I am 2 days off my first 6 weeks. It was fast in the first weeks and has now slowed to about 2 pounds per week, but I am pretty happy with that. Just got to stick to it : )
Although I'm focusing on it a bit now as I'd like to lose 24lbs (from my current weight) before Easter next year. That brings me to my target 84lbs in 4 years.
Although once I'm there, I will probably want to lose another 5-10lbs.
My body seems to be in a weird pattern - I lose a pound... lose another pound... lose another pound... and then UP by 2 lbs for a couple days... then back down again. I eat aprx the same calories (and the same foods!) every day, so that's just really weird to me.
So on average, I'm losing about 2-3 lbs per month. I wish it would go faster. BUT... at least it's coming off.
