Default Help! Still Top Heavy!

I'm a short girl, and i've recently lost about 50lbs. I am now 4'11 120lbs but my shoulders and my back still look a lot larger than my bottom half. Can anyone help with your work out remedies?

Congrats on your fantastic weight loss!!

I am forever top-heavy, partly due to broad shoulders which I cannot fix. But the two best ways I've found for keeping my apple/inverted triangle shape in check are 1) a Pilates DVD, for back and side toning and ab strength, and 2) Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD for serious stomach toning. Apart from that I jog, walk and bicycle for general fitness. Good luck!

Also a top heavy girl here... broad shoulders...Yahhhh its genetics. haha

you could do pushups and chest flies they would help tone the muscle there too. I dont to much of that, i work in a warehouse where i lift 10-40lb boxes all day and its helped. Not much though.

Well at least your broad shoulders will make your waist appear narrower
