Hello All....
I was watching the tv show "The Other Half" which I dont get to watch often since it is during the days here. They have 3 ladies that they are doing a "Better Body Challenge" for the next ten weeks.
I thought "Why Not"?????
Now I realize they are going to have "experts" help them with every step they take but we have each other, right????
Amanda was 198#, size 16/18, 34% Body Fat and she has a goal of a weight loss of 20#'s
Girl #2 (cant remember her name) was 279#, size 22, 41% Body Fat and she has a goal of 30#'s.
Sarah was 216# size 16/18, 31% Body Fat and she has a goal of 25#'s
Now I think these girls are all of us.... and they were incredibly brave to get up there and weigh in front of the world.... the one girl was almost in tears... I couldn't do it....
Here is my stats......
Ursula - 205#, size 16/18, 39.2% Body Fat..... I have a goal of 25#'s.
My current routine is...
Monday am-Friday am- 10 min cardio warm up, 30 min circuit training (alternate upper and lower body), 45 min cardio, 10 min stretching.
Saturday am- 15 min cardio warm up, 60 min circuit training (both upper and lower), 60 min cardio, 15 min stretching.
I am also trying to include walking, yoga, and pilates in the evenings. Just trying to get in everything I can.
My biggest downfall right now is FOOD!!!!! I do so well in the morning... eat a banana before working out then cottage cheese or yogurt after working out. Lunch isnt so bad either..... it is night time.... UGH!!!!! The family comes home and eats all kinds of things and I am tired and usually start eating with them with NO CONTROL.
I have started reading this book "The 90/10 Weight Loss Plan" which basically says eat 90% of what you should and 10% "Fun Foods" that way you dont binge.... it seems like a sensible plan, no gimmicks really.... alot of commom sense. I think I am going to try this plan....
Is anyone in with me....
