Default Injury derailed my snacking attempt!

I'm feeling bingye-y today. TOM is going to strike and among other symptoms I want to snack away on carbs. I was on my way out to the kitchen to give in to my cravings and as I stepped over the baby gate I stubbed my toe and when I looked at it, it was cut and bleeding. I went to go clean and cover it and by the time I was done my craving was gone! Lol not sure if I want that to be the reason I avoid all snacking!

Seriously though, it's a good strategy. Well, not the injury part, but the distraction. Doesn't always work, but it's worth a try. Tell yourself you can have it, just not now.

Last week there were leftover sandwiches in the kitchen at work. I wanted one so bad, but I waited. And waited. And finally the craving left. Then, at the very end of the day I went in to wash out my mug and ate one. Sigh. Maybe I should have kicked something instead.

lol, my toe is ok. I'm going to spin this morning, I just hope it doesnt hurt then! And I did snack a little extra last night, BUT I recorded it so as not to go of the rails on a crazy train, so to speak!! And I only had a total of 1855 calories yesterday, which for a binge day is great for me. Still WNL, or within normal limits as far as I'm concerned!!
