Lose 10pounds by July 1st

  • I joined a group of people determined to lose 10pounds by June 1st, however, instead of losing, i gained 3pounds, i am determined to remain focused and lose all the excess weight i'm carrying around one at a time.

    I'm challenging myself to lose 10pounds by July 1st, i will weigh in on fridays to monitor my progress, you're invited to join in if you're interested.

    Start weight as at 06/01: 173lbs

  • I'm in this is my goal for June. I initially said I'd go for 9lbs but that would leave me at 170 and I don't want to see the "7" unless it is 167.

    My weigh in day is Tuesday

    5/31 ~ 178.8

    but today's weigh in 179.0 up .2 from yesterday to be accountable

  • I've never actually lost 10lbs in a month but I seriously need to get this weight off... so why not try? Let's see if I can actually stay on plan 100% this month and do it.

    I do daily weighing but just for the sake of keeping this more organized I'll just make Weds the official weigh-in day.

    My body tends to like to fluctuate so hence the average weight above.

    I don't think I've lost 10 in a month either but I need some serious motivation. It is going to be tough because I will be out of town for at least 8 days this month. So far I have started the month of June out right though, all 13 hours of it

    Brand new to 3FC today. My start date is Sunday for eating healthier so I'm in for losing 10 lbs in June! I think losing weight in smaller increments is more manageable. I'll weigh in on Wednesdays.

    So do we just post here each time we weight in? Or maybe also write what we eat or how itīs going?
    I will be traveling most of june, so I wonīt get to do any conventional exercise (lots of hiking though). I will try to stick to 1300 calories a day.

  • Donna I live on here it seems. When I'm not on during the day (when everyone is out) or late evening I usually eat what I have no business, but I have learned from experience to check in often and just join in on any thread that I can relate to.

    Ditto! So far so good. I've been out of exercising for a little over a week now due to being sick. I was hoping to start again sooner but this thing just won't go away. Today's the first day that I really feel better and, of course, it's the day I have to work late out of the week, here's hoping I still manage enough energy for a workout tonight!
  • Jelma I lost 12.2lbs when I first started June 2010. I'm sure it was by cutting out all sweets, soda and fried food. I counted calories and started walking and back then I could barely do two laps around the track before I felt like my heart was coming out of my chest. Now I think (know) I'm just being lazy and making excuses, even though it's really hot out already. We can do this
