I didn't get headaches when I started, but after a few days everything started to taste 'bad' and I had this weird taste in my mouth most of the day, for about a week or so. I was only on 1200 cals per day for the first two weeks before going up to 1400, so I think it was either detox or going into ketosis. After I went up to 1400, the funny taste stopped, thank goodness.
