Hi All, I've been feeling a bit low today, so I thought I'd post some midway pictures. It's something I've been looking forward to, because I hoping that if I see them on the screen then maybe I will be able to tell a difference. Also, I've JUST now allowed some pictures to actually be taken of me!
The first set is from this summer. I was the maid of honor at my sister's wedding. 195 lbs.
The second set were from last week, taken in the mountains of NC. 162 lbs. They aren't great comparison shots, so you might not be able to see much of a change!
(PS - the red hair was a post break up impulse - but I'm starting to love it!)
I love the red hair-- very pretty!
It really helps looking at pictures from the past sometimes, doesn't it? I was looking at pictures of myself from around 6-7 years ago, far before I even started losing weight. I never realized how much my body has changed until I saw those.
Wow! You were beautiful before the weight loss, and look absolutely stunning now! I see a HUGE difference between the photos, and hope that in looking at them you can see the difference too.
Thank you for posting these. They are very inspirational for people like me who aren't seeing much in the way of a visual difference as the weight starts to come off. I hope that when I'm halfway to my goal, I will see as big of a difference in my own appearance as I can see in your photos.
Thank ya'll for your nice comments! You know, it's funny/interesting/sad how truly difficult it is to accept a visual change in ourselves. I've cropped/zoomed/rotated these pictures every way possible, and it's still really hard for me to see a clear difference - especially in my face.
It helps to know that you see a change
And glad you like the red! I was blonde for 28 years; I was due a change
Pictures do tell...you are gorgeous! Keep us the good work! I have manipulated my picures as well and I think it is much harder for us to see a difference but everyone else can!!!
You are so gorgeous! Pre and post you are stunning! But my, you've come a long way, and your smile just radiates.
Which mountain? I was just in NC last weekend myself. I'm quite partial to Pilot Mountain and am determined to explore it one day. I've only ever driven through but I have family in Kernersville/Winston-Salem.
I LOVE the red on you. Your skin tone and eye color work very well with darker colors, so you could probably also pull off a brunette tone easily. From what it looks like, you didn't carry much of your previous weight in your upper body, so that is why there isn't a huge difference in your face. BUT, look at your thighs in the second picture compared to the last picture. Big difference! Plus you look so happy in the last two pictures :-)

I can totally see a big difference. We started out around the same weight and are about the same way now and like you, I can't see a major difference when I look in the mirror. You give me hope! :-)
