An update for those who have been trying to help!
Hi guys, a few of you have asked me for an update on what I decide to do, so here it is!
A few weeks ago I was complaining about being stuck and it just didn't make sense. I'm on plan, I log everything and I exercise consistently. Well, I may have found my answer. I think I might be insulin resistant. I am currently a full time student and had to leave my job to do so. I have no insurance right now so I really can't afford a doctor. But, when I did have insurance my physician put me on metformin as kind of a precautionary measure. I never really thought much about it until now. I hated the met so I researched "natural" supplements for insulin resistance. I understand the risks of taking supplements without the supervision of a doctor but I accept them. Anyway, after 5 days of taking cinnamon and chromium along with my daily multivitamin and fish oil I have FINALLY started losing, after nearly 2 months of not. Maybe it's placebo...maybe it's not...but it's working. |
What ever works girl. Glad you figured out what was holding you back. Maybe you could apply for medicare? I wish the U.S. just had health insurance for everybody like most of the civilized world but it's a good thing you found a relatively cheap solution to your problem. :)

Ooooh, yay! I am so glad that you are seeing a loss on the scale now. I know that you were very much in distress about it. Thanks so much for the update!
And PS.... I take supplements too without ever consulting a doctor. I don't even think twice about it. (For good or for bad) |
