Default Birthday

So, my birthday is coming up next week Wednesday. I will probably have a somewhat off plan day as far as food goes. I normally do a weight class and a zumba class in the mornings on Wednesdays and right now I am scheduled for an hour with the trainer that afternoon. I am trying to decide if I want to keep this schedule or if I want to take the day completely or partially off as far as workouts go. My question is what would you do, have you done, do you plan to do?

Happy Birthday!

I totally love birthdays, especially mine.

If it were me, I probably wouldn't do the same old thing that I do at the gym or at home -- unless I really loved it. If I still wanted to exercise (a good idea if there is birthday cake involved!), I might think about trying to do something fun or different or special. I would encourage you to do something that makes you feel good!

I'd exercise but I'd treat myself to something fun and new. Like new class that I've been interested in or something.

My husband just told me that he should be able to take the day off. So, if I do go to my classes he's going to go with me which will be fun and if I decide to skip them then we might go climb a mountain. I'm still trying to decide though. There will definitely be cake! I have lost the taste for a lot of the junk I used to eat, but I still LOVE birthday cake.

I think it depends for me. Last year, I was traveling for work and I didn't exercise. I also went out with friends that night and I had a good meal with no remorse (until later!).

This year, I suspect my actual birthday will be on-plan with the exercise, because I don't have plans to celebrate the actual day with friends (or with work colleagues!!!). But if I am out of town, I'll probably restrain myself because I have a party planned for the weekend with my friends!!!

My birthday is Monday. I'm going to the gym as normal and I also have an appointment set up with my trainer. As far as food goes, I'll stay "on-plan" for the most part but allow myself to have cake.
