Fell off the wagon...
Well, a few weeks ago I fell off the wagon and started eating everything in sight. I just hadn't been feeling well, had the blahs, and the food was comforting me. I spent a couple of weeks eating (way) off plan, and had put back on about 5-6 pounds. Then, I got a stomach bug and lost about 10 pounds in 3 days. I oddly did not put the weight back on immediately after I started eating again after the stomach bug, but it did start creeping back on last week.
So, it is finally time for me to get back on track. It's been almost a month, and I feel like such a failure. But, this is the mentality I have been trying to get away from. So, hopefully, this is me, getting back on track, and not failing! :carrot: :-) |
I was recently travelling and seemed to just INHALE food allll the time and gained 7lbs in 2 months, so I know exactly how you feel!
I found myself dreading the weigh-in when I got back but I did it and now feel on my way to recovery! I feel like I can fix this! So good luck to you! :D |
I feel for you! I am still recovering from my rolling leap off the wagon last month! We can do it!

I kind of know how you feel. I just recovered from a stomach bug that got me way off plan when it comes to eating. I was so hungry after three days of being barely able to eat anything, and I ate everything in sight. This is the first time I fell off the wagon, and I find that it's more difficult to start over when my brain keeps nagging me that I've fallen off once, so I'm going to fall again. But eh, I just tell my brain to shut up, get back on plan and move forward.

Persistence, not perfection ladies! I totally know how you feel. We are human after all. Falling off the wagon, is not the end of the world, staying off is! Quit beating yourself over the head with that nasty french fry and get back on the wagon!

Thanks for the support, everyone! I'm almost completely back on the wagon. I am still having small binges here and there - but I'm working on it. I don't want to stay off the wagon. I'd say I'm dangling from it now... :-)
