I've been right around 137.2 since 1/29. Got a bit below it, then bounced back above it, but I have seen that number on the scale over and over.

Last week my calories averaged 1300, this week 1600, but definitely caried the daily totals a lot. Ate WW pasta for lunch every day this week, so that may not be helping. Next week will cut down on the carbs and calories and try to get some more strength training in. Went to body sculpting Monday night and was sore through yesterday, so only did cardio the rest of the week.

Nice to know I'm not alone in this frustration!

After reading some more on stalls I have decided to go for “break” which supposes to help me to pass plato. I will maintain for 1 week and then will lower my calories again. During this week, I will weight train only and will skip cardio completely, to shock my body with changes in my fitness routine.

Will let you know if I will have any success! Keep posting girls and please share your experience….

i've been stalled since january. that month, i only lost 5 lbs even though the previous four i had lost around 10-12. i'm going pretty slow this month, as well, so i've started swapping it up now. i guess we'll see how it goes.

i started weight training in january, so i'm assuming that gained muscle mass is what's caused the weight on the scale to move so slowly.

I've heard if it's been a very long time since you've had a whoosh if you drink a liter of water with 1 TBS of sea salt in it your weight will drop because it causes your body to release the water trapped in the fat cells. Not sure if it works but I've heard heard good things about it. Warning though you wouldn't wanna drink too much salt because you could end up getting dehydrated.

I guess I could be considered a whoosher. I tend to stay at the same weight for a few days and then drop 2-3 pounds over a couple of days and then hover around the same weight again. I had a drop to my newest low weight this morning so I'm hoping the trend will continue tomorrow...I haven't really been eating nutritiously lately though (not many veggies and not enough water) so I think if I really want that whoosh I need to get 100% on track. I've still been eating on plan, but my body seems to let go of the weight when I eat more veggies, healthy fats and protein rather than the low-carb mini pizzas I've been eating today.

Good luck to everyone on their whooshes! I'm due for one after not losing anything for a few days.

I thought this thread, with its link to an article that helps to explain why your weight stalls or goes up when you are staying OP, was certainly worth bumping back up to the top. So many people become discouraged and fall off the wagon because they are discouraged by a weight loss stall. If you just stay on plan and wait it out, you are certain to whoosh too!

Thanks Jacqui D, I love this thread Haha. I've been stuck at 169/168/169 for what seems like ages. I did have a "whoosh" once. I could SURE use one now.

You and me both, MauiKai! I've been juggling the same two lbs since the beginning of August. It's like my body knows I am hoping to reach Onederland and is keeping me in suspense, lol!

Pfft, I've been fighting the same 6 pounds since the beginning of LAST AUGUST.

The only good thing is that I started running and strength training about the same time, so I've gone from a size 12 to an 8, even though the scale is not changing.

Whoosh, please come! I have been so good with my eating and exercise and, in 16 days, I have only lost .4 lbs.

Never heard of this term previously but I'm definitely a whoosher! Typically my weight doesn't budge throughout the week and sometimes it even goes up then come Saturday, I'll drop at least a pound. Although I suspect this has something to do with me waking up later than usual on weekends.

Thank you, whoosh fairy! I hit Onederland today! Now, if it will just keep going, I have a mini-goal that I'd love to meet sooner than later!
