Pooch

  • Does any have that pooch on your lower stomach? I know mine is from having children. I was wondering if it ever goes away??
  • I have 4 children and was wondering the same thing. I think it is different for everyone, but I am hoping that tummy tuck is NOT in my future.
  • I have the same thing! I don't know if it will ever go away but I am hopeful. I can't afford a tummy tuck!
  • I have definitely had it since I lost a lot of weight. I hear it snap back in about a year depending on your age, muscle tone and genetics but that sometimes it never does. Not much you can do about it without getting a tummy tuck.
  • No clue but I really hope mine goes away but I'm not holding my breath. I'm pregnant with #2 so I'll have to wait away to find out but I'm really hoping it goes away afterwards!!!
  • Hm, I hope it goes away. I already need a boob lift. Haha. And omg the stretch marks! Sigh, but fixing one thing at a time.
  • I’ve never had children, but I still have a little pooch. I’m not sure if it will ever go away. It doesn’t hang or anything, but there’s still fat there.

by pooch we mean droopiness and hanging skin. XD
  • I definitely have the "pooch". 2 kids over 10 lbs each will do that to you. It drives me crazy and makes me feel hopeless, but when I remember how huge I was when I was pg I feel a little better. I do mourn for the loss of the prepregnancy body I never really appreciated though.

I've done a lot of research about this and the best I hear is lower your body fat, lift weights to tone, and the rest would require a surgeon's touch. I don't think I would bother with the surgery, so I guess I'll just have to cope.

Yeah i think I 'll just cope too, and invest in some pretty control top lingerie. I am sure there are some out there.
  • I, too, have the pooch. I am learning to embrace it as memorial to my weight loss journey :-D It is my medal of valor
