Default things that help me stay on plan

1.gum (keeps me from the temptation my friends/coworkers are enjoying
2. brushing my teeth (i dont like them to be "dirty" right after i brush)
3. water
4. diet soda with breakfast/lunch/dinner (i buy a 20oz bottle in the a.m. and use it all day, i usually dont finish it all even by the end of the day)
5. mirrors (i HATE to look at myself, but by doing so i aim to soon love the way i look and also hope to see body changes soon)

i dont know why but i felt like i needed to compile this list.

Sounds like a good list, it's good to remember the things that can help you when your plan is difficult to follow, as happens sometimes. I resonate with a couple of yours, diet soda is one thing I use, as well as gum. A few others:

1. Buying inexpensive (secondhand generally) target clothing - I love seeing how close I am to smaller sizes.
2. Getting out of the house and going for a walk, or to the mall to look around - gets my mind off whatever might be tempting me at the moment.

And mirrors are great too, it won't be long before you can see changes in yourself, I love passing by mirrors now...although it keeps me motivated in that I see where I need to keep going, I also love seeing the changes so far!

Gotta agree with you on the mirror thing in the beginning I could drop 20 pounds and not see a difference (I started out at 534 pounds) but now I drop 10-15 and I can see it (it also shows in my monthly no shirt just skivvies pics lol) if that doesn;t work I just play with my daughter for a little while and know why I need to stay on track

As Ever
