Rock climbing!!!

I want to take swing, salsa, contemporary, and hip hop dancing classes
I want to be able to run 5 miles (I can't even run a block without a pain in my side and huffing and puffing) I want to take kickboxing/boxing classes I want to be able to swim and tan at the beach in a bikini I want to go to a club in a sexy outfit and dance I want to take karate I want to be a police officer so being fit is crucial. I want to climb a mountain I want to learn to surf I want to complete a bike marathon I want to run a 5k, and then more. I want to skydive I want to be confident and unafraid and unashamed. That's living. Thats the best activity of all, and I want to do it. |
You really don't want to know what kind of activities I lust for ;)

I want to be able to climb the three holy mountains (Fuji, Hakusan, Tateyama) in Japan.
I tried climbing one of them this summer and only made it about 3/4 of the way after painstaking efforts. I don't need to lead the pack to the top but I want to actually make it to the summit. |

I want to be able to run without wearing "control top" tights under my running tights. It sucks feeling your belly flat flop up and down while you run.
I'd also like to be able to run longer and faster. Also, magically become an amazing dancer, but no amount of healthy eating is going to make that happen! |

Hike Kayak or get on any boat without fear of tipping it over! :o :yikes: Run I love running and my distance is a bit over three miles and that with some slllooooowwww jogging/fast walking. I can swim but I want to feel comfortable enough to put the suit on to get my booty to the pool in the first place. Ride a bike without having to use one of those store bought WIDE seat because the small ones are such a pain. Great thread, makes me feel dreamy. lol. |
I'd love to be a runner. The idea of just throwing on my tennis shoes and going is appealing. I'm getting there...slowly... I want to be able to run for a decent period of time without feeling like I'm going to die.
I want to hike. I love the outdoors (during the day, I don't do overnight lol) and it would be fun to get out and enjoy it more. I recently hiked up part of mt rainier and it was an awesome day. I want to go back there when I'm not dying for breath. The scenery was incredible. That's mostly it. I've toyed with joining the army but I've never seriously considered it because boot camp would KILL me. Kill me dead. Maybe if I reach my goal weight/fitness level I'll think about it more seriously. |
I want to run! I looooove running!! That is my ultimate goal, to just go running in the park near my home!

-Hiking: observation point in zion np to see the view in my avatar for myself. half dome too -Ice skating: I've been once when I was little and had to be held up by my dad and brother. I'd love to feel graceful doing it And for folks saying rock climbing, I took an indoor climbing class last semester. While my strength was subpar and I never made it to the top, there was a guy in there who had at least 80-100lbs on me and absolutely made that wall his b**ch. |
I'd love to be able to kayak and ride horses. Weight loss is likely to improve, but not cure my health issues, so I'm not sure either will ever be possible, even at goal weight, but I'm hoping.

I would love to run and have to stop because I'm tired or I completed my goal, not because I have too much pain in my legs.
I want to cross my legs thoroughly and comfortably. I want to dance without feeling self-conscious about my size. I want to be able to lift weighs and actually see some muscles working in my arms, rather than just fat jiggling around. This is kind of an obscure one, but I want to be able to play "chicken" when I go to the pool or the beach with my friends without that awkward moment where I either can't be picked up, or I can, but then my giant thighs are wrapped around my poor friend's neck. This happened in September and really put a damper on my evening :( |
