Ideas for weight/exercise tracker

I'm looking for some sites to track my exercise time and my calories. Any ideas?

Thanks
Missy

I know a lot of people use sparkpeople and love it, but I cannot get into it or other web sites like that. I know there are other sites out there, the others should be able to give you some.

I use books specifically designed to record your food intake and your exercise. In the past I've used fitbook by fitlosphy and it worked well, and the one I began using recently"diet and fitness journal" by Claudine Gandolfi is even better. But I would try the free sites first. :)

I use sparkpeople occasionally but every day I use DietPower. DP isn't free though, it cost $49 a few years ago. No ongoing fee.
I like it for its clarity, and because it's a Download, not a site; so if the internet is down, I can still use it. The downside of this is that you can't download it onto multiple gizmos - so I can't keep track on my tiny netbook when I'm away on holiday.

The crucial thing about these trackers is that they record not just weight and exercise but all the nutrients we're supposed to eat. When I began losing weight in 2002, I was eating small amounts of very healthy food, and couldn't understand why I felt so yuk. Bought DP and discovered that most of my key nutrients were very low. A multi-vit and a calcium supplement was all it took. It really is impossible to get the right nutrients from a reduced intake diet, no matter how healthy the composition.

I like software myself. I use Crosstrainer 6. It is not free, but once you've paid for the software, then you are good and you don't have to be online to use it. It really makes counting calories very easy and is also nice for logging meds/supplements as well as weight workouts and cardio. You can request an unlock key to use it on more than a single computer too.

I guess it's all in what you like. I tried out a bunch of diet softwares before settling on Crosstrainer as the easiest for me to use. I also tried Fitday and Sparkpeople, couldn't stand either. Previous to getting Crosstrainer, I used a software called Lifeform, which was good, but kind of dated looking. It didn't allow me to record weight workouts in detail though.

loseit.com works! Plus they have apps for smartphones!

I love spark people. They actually have an app fpr my phone so when I open my mouth to eat and I'm not home I can still track it.
