Im up 1.8 to 222.8 today. No worries. I only had 5 hours of sleep. If that. I did great last night at the 2 parties I went to. I had appetizers and 1 peanut butter ball for dessert. Im very proud. I know my gain is due to not enough sleep. I am confident coming into our event for today.
Merry Christmas everyone! Have a wonderful day!

Christmas was AWESOME!!! I got a Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports!!!!! Myself, my inlaws and my husband played it for almost 5 hours straight. My body is sore today. LOL!! My WiiFit age was 40! I weighed in at 153.2lbs, and that was after I had partaken in a large cinnamon roll, milk and water. I indulged on Christmas day though, so that number went up to 154.4 today. I'm sure most of it is water weight since a lot of what I had was salty stuff.
I still have an ear infection, I'm thinking in both ears now, but I have some over the counter earache relief drops that seem to be working pretty well. That coupled with some Tylenol and Motrin has worked wonders to keep me feeling fairly normal. My balance is still awful. I almost fell off the WiiFit balance board more than once last night.

Down .2 today and thrilled. I feel confident in what I ate yesterday and felt even better when I saw a loss today. I am hoping for another loss tomorrow. I had my last party today and did outstanding with what I ate.
I took the day off tomorrow and am super happy that I did. I cant imagine the thought of going back to work tomorrow. I haven't had a chance to relax once this weekend. LOL It is a winter wonderland here today. We are supposed to get something like 9 - 12 inches of snow. Awesome. Not really. I'm hoping that my son's full day program will still be going on tomorrow so that I can drop him there and I can have the day to myself to clean the entire house and get a run in at the gym.
Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone~
Hope you all had a great Christmas. I had a really good one. Haven't done much as far as working out or eating right but I have enjoyed my holidays.
I only have a few moments because it is late and I want to get to bed early enough to make it to my aerobics in the morning but it sure is good to see everyone again!

Good morning ladies! Gosh, it seems like forever since I've posted. I'm back from our trip to Michigan!!! It went pretty well up there, I enjoyed seeing all my family and friends I hadn't seen in so long. I did a pretty good job of staying within my maintenance calorie range. I did indulge, but I'm happy to say I hopped on the scale this morning and I'm 154 exactly, so I maintained perfectly! I woke up yesterday feeling sick (sore throat) and sure enough in the middle of the night my throat was even worse, I can barely swallow...so it looks like a lot of smooth, easy to swallow things are an order! Anyways, I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!! Hope all you ladies have a happy, healthy, OP Monday!

Aw, Linds and Pint, feel better soon!
We had a good and quiet (well, relatively...think of four kids at Christmas and all their noisy toys ) Christmas. I've had a huge woosh and am totally confused by it. I was down to 212.8 yesterday. Still reading that today. I thought weightloss would be this simple mathematical formula and it seems to be a lot more fickle than that. Not that I'm complaining, of course, just a bit confused. I had a few days over my calorie allotment, so maybe that refeed theory works? I don't know. Either way, I'm taking it...it's mine!
My stomach is still not back to normal either. In fact, it seems to be getting a bit worse. I tried to work out last night and it was cramping like crazy. Sent me straight back to the couch. I ate dinner and it started all over again. So, I'm putting myself on the BRAT diet today and just taking it easy. I'm sooooo ready to be healthy. I'm done with all this sickness.
How's everyone else doing? How was your Christmas? Any fun plan for New Years?

Morning ladies
Vixsin: congrats on the woosh
Shells: Hope you feel better!
Lindsey: Nice to see you again!!
I realized this morning that I am absolutely bored with my water aerobics. So for a bit I am going to quit going. I have been wanting to walk so that is what I am going to do. I have to take the dogs walking since my beagle boy needs to lose some weight. I decided to take him to the weight for a weigh in. So we walked. It was an hour long walk but it was wonderful! I was listening to "My Side of the Mountain" while I walked and enjoyed it immensely. The vets was a little more hassle. The receptionist had to help me get Duke on the scale cause he wouldn't walk on it and my beagle girl was going crazy to try and get to a cat. And when we got him on...well the stinker has GAINED 4 pounds this month!! We weighed him on the 4th and he has GAINED. So no skipping walks for Duke!
Not entirely sure what the day is going to hold for me for food wise but here is what I have so far:
B: 1/4 c grapes, 1/2 c pineapple. (There was a cup of apple slices from a fruit tray but they tasted awful!) 1 babybel light cheese round
117
I will see what the rest of the day has to offer. I need to clean the fridge out and see what all is left and use up that stuff!
I also think that tonight I am going to go to the midnight swim at the Y. It is a lap swim where they dim all the lights and it sounds kind of peaceful. Every time I have tried to make it before something interferes!
Roxanne
P.S I have to laugh, we just got back from our walk and the dogs are already curled up on the couch snoozing!

Roxanne: I think if you want to walk, then walk away!!! The dogs will appreciate it, you know that for sure. I think it's a great idea to switch things up a bit! And that midnight swim sounds wonderful!! Let us know if you make it there this time.
Linds and Pint: Feel better!
Shells: Congrats on the whoosh lady!!! Take that whoosh and run before your scale changes his mind!!!!
Kayla: "No Makeup Monday" cracked me up!!! That sounds like something I'd say.
So the kidlet saw the doc today because he's got one heck of a cough. It's been going on for a while now. atleast a week and a half and it was real bad last night. The doc said its more repiratory so he gave him a couple of inhalers and a nasal spray. I gave him a dose of everything when we came home and I already notice that his cough is less. I think that doc may have been onto something. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
And the greatest gifts I got this year were my new wok frying pan and the awesome cutting board and knives. It's gonna be stir fry EVERYTHING in my house!!!!!!
What's the best thing that you've all gotten?

Good evening~
Checking in for today
I already posted breakfast. It was 117 calories
L: Mini babybel light cheese, 1 c radishes, 3/4 c cauliflower, 3/4 pomegrantes seeds, 4 oz smoked salmon
444 calories
D: 1 c steamed carrots, 1 medium red potato, 1 oz smoked salmon
251
Snack: piece of my sons birthday cake
104
Desset: Another piece of birthday cake (bad me)
104
Total calories for the day:

Doesn't look like midnight swim is happening tonight. Kids asked to play a game night so will be doing that as soon as they clean their rooms. Guess I will shoot for Wednesday. Workouts in the evening are really hard for me to make.
Hope everyone had a great day!

Hi Everyone!
We are staying at a hotel. They have a computer for available for us to use. We couldn't get to the house in the mountains because of the snow. I have been using the elliptical every night. I haven't counted calories, but I have watched what I ate very closely. I hope to maintain while on my trip.
I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.

Diana--Ugh, sorry the snow messed up your plans. It's nice to hear from you, though! Great job on staying OP!
Roxan--Your game night sounds like fun!
Vixsin--We're dealing with the coughs too. I was up all night with the youngest. I hate it when they're sick.
Still dealing with sickness here. I really think it's our environment. We need to get out of this place and into something healthier. I'm sick of being sick. On a positive note, I'm down to 212 today. Only 1 pound away from 50 pounds lost!! I promised myself a new dress when I reached my 50lb goal, but now I'm 2nd guessing myself. A new dress...in the dead of winter??
