Shells Good Morning to you, Hon. Sorry the cold isn't gone yet. Sending healing vibes your way. : What are the names of the Tae Bo workouts? Last night I did Ultimate Tae Bo. I didn't do the "bonus" workout because the main section that I did was 90 minutes! Yes, you heard that correct, 90 minutes! It was awesome! Tae Bo is so good because it is a complete workout. It's cardio, kicking is lower body toning, punching is upper body toning, and kickboxing works the abs/core.

Good Morning All!

Well, I am not surprised at my gain after this weekend. I was 85% on plan but my evening meals on Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday were higher in sodium and carbs than my body is used to. I also got back to the gym on Saturday morning and COMPLETELY overdid it. So my legs are holding onto some serious water because I am really sore.

I am not stressed about it at all and am CONFIDENT that after 3 or 4 days of my usual structured eating, my body will relax and my numbers will come back down.

Quick synopsis of my weekend:

Sat: first workout at the gym in almost a whole month!! Did 15 minutes straight of running. (I was so surprised and delighted) Then I did 25 minutes of some hardcore incline walking because I felt so good. I ended up on a 4.0 incline going 3.8 mph. Thats insane for me! I loved it. Saturday was also Cookie Day. I don't know how many cookies we made but I bought 6 rolls of cookie dough and baked them all. We'll need to do some more on Wed night too. It was so much fun and I only ate 2 small cookies.

Sun: My son's 7th birthday so we had a party at a rollerskating rink. It was total chaos and he had a blast. It was so crazy though, I only got a chance to eat the salad I had brought with me for scattered moments. So I didnt eat nearly enough by the time supper came around. Then last night, we had the first of our several family get togethers for the holidays. I had a full plate there and felt perfectly fine about all that I was eating because of not getting much to eat at the party. Totally avoided the dessert buffet too!!! Super proud of that one! You should've seen all the stuff there! Busy Busy Busy this weekend.

No wonder my numbers are all over the place. High sodium and later than usual eating will do that.

Hope everyone had great weekends. I will try to get caught up on the weekend reading today.

Well, I didn't mean like . . . really working. I didn't know if you were checking out of work early to prepare for your trip.

Hola ladies,
sorry, no check in yesterday. I was/am dealing with these terrible stomach pains still. Yesterday was fine until the afternoon and BAM! - I was down and out for the rest of the night .
Here's my food intake from Sunday:
B - 2 pieces of toast with margerine, small cup of milk
L - 2 slices of fruit bread

Couldn't eat anything the rest of the night .

Today I only had camomile tea and 3 pieces of zwieback (it's baby toast with NO flavor). I'm feeling pretty okay and super hungry, so I'll have some plain rice for dinner.

I hate being sick, but this has done wonders for my diet as I've been limited to water and tea for much of the last two days . I'm down 7 lbs from last week and weighed in at 247.4 this morning .

Shells Yep, I did all that. I am familiar with the Celebrity Fit and Ultimate Tae Bo workouts. I'm not familiar with the other ones. You will have to tell me about them when you do them. Do you have any of the standing ab workouts? I really like those. He has a new one called Insane Abs that I want to get.

Diana 3271 -

I want to try the Insane Abs one, too. It looks like it will kick you in the rear but in a GOOD way!!
