Unhappy my body is so wierd right now

Since I've been losing, I've been dropping a jean size about every 20 pounds but lately I've been stuck at a 16 for 25 pounds. The size 14s are still just as muffin toppy as they were 10 pounds ago. But my size 16s are beginning to look ridiculously baggy around my hips and butt. I finally figured out why. My measurements are
Bust=38
Waist=34
Hips=41
According to Gap's size chart this means my hips are a size 10 and my waist is a 16? My boobs,butt, hips, and thighs are shrinking like crazy but my calves, ankles and belly are not budging at all. My calves look wierdly close in size to my thighs. it just looks so strange. I know that eventually my body will HAVE to start taking fat from my belly etc but, in the meantime, I kinda miss my hourglass that I had at 324 pounds!

sorry just had to vent lol

I don't think it's just you. There is something weird that happens between a size 14 and 16. It's kind of the division for plus sized and the shape of the garments is different.

Keep looking around for a different style until you find one that fits.

My latest pairs of jeans that all fit well were from Dillards, ladies clothes. The brands were a Ralph Lauren (around $60) and one I don't remember, also $60, and a Rebe McIntire one on sale around $29. Each of them were a size 12 and fit perfectly. That was really weird that they all fit.

Thanks! I guess I just need to branch out from Gap for a while. It is such a shame cause I love their flare jeans but I will definitely go to Dillards and check out those brands!

I know the feeling of that weird sizing between 16 and 14. I went through that for several weeks then one day I realized I had to go buy a different size. I bought 14's (after trying on a bunch of different brands) and boy that felt great. Then after some exercise it was weird...like the weight shifted around. I was solidly in 14's and even some 12's.

Thanks, everyone!

Update: I went to Dillards, American Eagle, Old Navy etc and tried on about 8 different styles of jeans and realized I am a size 14 in all of them so I guess Gap just isnt right for my body right now? Anyways, I decided I needed a pair of jeans that actually fit so I chose a nice pair of DKNY's what can I say? I love jeans
