I lost 14 pounds in October, so about 3.5 pounds per week average.
My AIC went from 8.6 in July to 5.3 in October, which is considered excellent.
My vitamin D is low at 15 when it should be 30, so my doctor has me on 50,000 vitamin d once a week for 4 weeks and then once a month after that. He said to take calcium supplements too, so I've been incorporating them into my calorie plan since last week.
Should I know what AIC is though?
---------
AIC is the measure of a person's blood sugar over the previous 3 months. You should only be concerned with that if you have pre-diabetes or are diabetic. The lowering of mine was a direct result of my diet, so I wanted to include it.
Thank you all for your kind words & support.

I believe A1C is a test to check your glucose levels for pre diabetics and diabetics. I have read some about it before. I think doctors are trying to get the test more widely used to diagnose and treat diabetes.
That is very impressive. My last A1c was 6.4 in July. I would love to know what it is now but I am currently without health insurance. But I would guess it would be lower. What kind of diet plan are you using?
