Ditto the food journal idea - personally went through some very similar experiences as I discovered that I'm allergic to two artificial colors. I can add 3-5 pounds of water bloat in a matter of hours when I stumble into them (and where the heck does it come from? The air???). Very frustrating, but also enlightening. And while I had the issue for years, I never figured it out until I joined 3FC and made the journaling a regular part of my new lifestyle.

I think the food journal is a very good idea. Weird stuff like bananas and milk make me bloat like CRAZY.
