Good morning everyone! Today's my weekly weigh in. It's been exactly 3 weeks since I began.
So far I've lost 8.6# and 15 3/4"!

My weigh in is: 166.6# (yikes!) 1.4 pounds to my 10 pound mark!

When I began my BMI was 30.1 and my BF% was 30%. Today my BMI is 28.6 and BF% is 26.8!

Just had to share! I'm thrilled! I'll post later...

Good Morning All!

Thank you all for the kind words. My mom is doing better. We are hoping that she will be out of the hospital by the end of the week. So that certainly has all of us breathing easier.

My scale dropped a little this morning to 238.2 so thats a 1.4 drop. That's good. I am just trying to get some OP days strung together so that my body will balance back out. In addition to sticking to my meal plans, I am recommitting myself to the gym. I need to start going back everyday even if it's just for 30 minutes on the elliptical. I need to get back in the habit of carving out that time for exercise.

Thanks Abi & Roxanne! I may have to stick to posting and answering. It's already great to see everyone's days again!

I'm having coffee/cream/sugar right now.

A couple of you have mentioned bok choy the last week or so and I bought some at the grocery store Monday. Can any of you offer recipes/preparation? I have no idea what to do with it.

I also bought curry powders and had a rather failed attempt at that. I should have researched recipes more seriously.

Default Change of Plans

So, instead of eating at home tonight, my hubby is going to take me out. Naturally, I freaked out! What am I going to order? Will I let the beuaty and flashy lights of the restaurant turn me into a food-eating machine?

The answer: NO!

LOL

Instead, I will go online and find a low calorie option for dinner that fits within my required guidelines. Here's what I for today now:

Breakfast burrito with whole wheat tortilla: 340
Orange 85

Lunch
Whole Wheat black bean wrap : 270
(1/4 cup black beans)
salsa

Dinner:
Applebee's Portabello/Steak : 330

Total Calories: 1025

I won't let the temptation of applebees get me tonight!

Morning everyone!

Todays day looks like this:

Breakfast: Kashi bar, mocha almond
Snack: Tea with cream and vanilla sugar
Lunch: wheat bagel with cream cheese
Dinner: Recipe from Weight Watchers cookbook, some kind of cheesy chicken enchilada casserole...looks and sounds great, so we will see!

Unsure about what I will have for a nightly snack, but be assured, there WILL be one.

Also, a brisk 40 minute walk with my fiance before dinner!

Diana - HI! I'm trying to keep up on the hellos now that I'm a little more comfortable around the boards. I have to write things down so I remember what to put. It's a very motivating and uplifting thing for me though, so worth it!

Nicole - Hi there! You always have great menus planned out.

Library girl - Great job! I tend to research places too. Though a lot of places are now putting calorie content on the lower-calorie items, but you can't count on that. (pun not intended! LOL)

Roxanne - That chicken cacciatori sounds great.

Mama - Wow! Great job with the cookies! I have a hard time not eating 2-3 home made cookies every time I walk past the plate!

Abidabbi - You're doing 1200/day too? I'm shooting for that, and now that I've kinda gotten a feel for calorie counting, I'm hitting 1200-1300 easily. My husband said that's too little, but I feel fine and have more energy now than I did when I was eating 2000+.

Shellsbrood - I have seasonal allergies and they're kicking my butt too! This time of year I usually end up on steroids and stronger allergy meds to control my asthma. I'm not too thrilled with this time of year.

Lindsey - WOW!! Great job!

Vixin - Glad things are looking up in regards to your mom. Congrats on the loss!

Ebenz - Good job!

MsCollins, Dallas - Hi!!

Today I splurged a bit on breakfast. I used leftover cooked potatoes (not mashed) and mashed them, added a little salt and some pepper, then fried them in my non-stick with no added fat/oils. I had about 2 potatoes, some ketchup and 1.5 cups of skim milk.

Today is another of my weigh-days but I forgot to. I was more focused on getting some allergy meds in me this morning!

edit: I went ahead and despite already having breakfast, I weighed 154.8lbs!!!! That's down .8lbs from Friday. I don't want to see that "55" again, LOL!!

Ladies, I posted a thread in the general chatter forum on trying to choose a business name. I would appreciate any input from my "friends" here - http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/gene...ness-name.html

B: porridge (water with a splash of skimmed milk)
L: can of tuna (tbsp olive oil and vinegar), cherry tomatoes, one crackerbread, banana
D: WW ready meal, broccoli, WW yoghurt

I stepped away from the scone! I went for a cup of tea in the auditorium cafe on our break from rehearsal and neeeeeearlly got a scone. BUT I DIDNT! And I'm out tonight but I've bought vodka and diet coke and am going to stick to that and no post-night-out munchies!

Also spent the morning doing dance rehearsals and remembered to take my green tea capsules and my flatmates and I just started taking Thermopure capsules so here's to the weightloss to be achieved (hopefully) soon!!!

Hope everyone's had a good day!!
