Blurridgegirl- thanks! I think she just choked and she got all the throw up in one blanket (I think). So it wasn't that bad...

But I am off to workout and then to the hospital to check on my dad. I hope I can stay OP since I'll be out of my usual routine.

Everyone good luck with our missions today!

Good morning!

I just weighed in and the scale is confidently 238.2. I thought it would be 237 as that's what my scales have been teasing all week. But the good news is that if I can find a way to control my food choices through this weekend and my "fall break" monday and tuesday, it's teasing 236 now. I'm tempted to go to the gym and work out with no water just to see 237.

Only plans for the weekend are a UK Football game tomorrow night. I'd thought of going to Dallas for the long weekend, but didn't make my plans in time. May try to plan something closer.

Have a good Friday!

Hi Girls!!!

Sorry I've been off the grid for a couple days. Been dealing with some stuff. Been doing well though.

I am happy to report ANOTHER new low on the scale today. 232.2 I am down 1.2 from yesterdays weight of 233.4.

I am also happy to report a big NSV that I noticed. I was a little stressed the last couple of days over new guy. Yeah...it's not going to work out with him. He's a little crazy. Normally when I would be stressed, it would lead me to the local convenience or grocery store's bakery aisle and I would get ready for some good old fashioned binging.

Not this time though. I mean, not only did I not have the urge to eat all of the crappiness that I could find but I ended up with virtually no appetite at all! It felt very wierd to me. Strange, exciting, good, odd all at the same time. I definitely take it as a victory because I didnt want to binge. And although I didn't have much of an appetite, I forced myself to eat a few things and what I did eat was completely healthy.

What a bizarre week this has been, girls! I'm kinda glad it's over.

I'll try to catch up on today's personals, but I'm afraid that's all I'm going to be up for today.

I missed you guys. Feels good to be out of my fog.

What is an NSV? I get what it represents, but not what it stands for.

Lauren: The games end this weekend. The 10th I believe. NBC showed events last weekend, not sure if they're showing anything else.

Vixsin: Sorry to hear about that crazy. There's got to be someone out there for us. Congrats on the not-binging!

Stacy: Good luck with your day. You have so many people to care for.

I had an egg/turkey/cheese breakfast sandwich & coffee - 4-450

Diana, I saw you put 70 for an egg and had to look it up. I've always rounded to 100. No longer.

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

This week has been looooonnng! So glad the weekend is almost here. Got on the scale this morning and another new low! 193.6!!!! Yay! It's so crazy that I am losing weight even with TOM around, I don't think that has ever happened before

I haven't really got that much planned for the weekend. Tonight I am going to have my hair done and then out for dinner. Saturday I will grocery shopping and preparing things for Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday - it's going to be tough cooking an all vegan meal for 5 people 3 of which aren't even vegetarians but i'll get by. Saturday night the SO has a bacholer party to go to so I am going to sty at home and do some googling for wedding stufff -invitation, flowers, cake etc. Then on Sunday it will be cooking and Thanksgiving dinner. It is a long weekend so we also have the Monday off but not sure what i'll be doing then. Probably sleeping in and taking the day to relax.

Here is my plan for the day Fri 10/8/2010

B - Quinoa Porridge with Almond Milk, Pure Maple Syrup and Strawberries

S - Cucumber and carrot sticks w/ hummus

L - Falafel on a whole wheat pita w/ tabolueh, hummus, tahini sauce, tomato, cucmber, lettuce and onion

S - 5 Triscuits + 1 banana

D - Not sure yet, going out

Drinking: At least 2 cups green tea + 2L water

Have a happy, healthy and OP day and weekend

15 Years!

It really is an intense work out. No matter whether its a tae bo-ish aerobic work out, or a bout of heavy bag hitting... or a round of sparing... It will change your thinking about intense work outs.

I will usually mark a point about shoulder level to me on my heavy bag at the end of a work out... And throw simple punches, a left straight punch and a right straight punch, hitting that point one after another. You notice almost immediately that your physically unable to keep your punches at that level... And your punches will dip and dip.

165 - I have done a cardio box class at the gym before and I liked the class, it was fun and a great workout but I didn't like the instructor. Maybe i'll give it another try.

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you all

Here's what I munched on today:

B - 1/2 slice of wholewheat bread with honey, coffee with low-fat milk

L - small portion of leftovers from last night (chicken and rice with peppers) stretched with a bunch of mungo sprouts, nectarine

S - Cappucino

D - WW "onion pie" (4 small pieces for a total of 10 WW points), can of Coke zero

Workout: 40 mins on the elliptical, then weights plus a few planks (I'm starting to love them, even though I'm still crap at them! )

Going to watch Germany vs. Turkey on TV (soccer) now. It's a huge deal b/c the game is in Berlin, which has the biggest Turk population outside of Turkey and a few Turkish immigrants are actually playing on the German team. Should be an amazing party and hopefully a peaceful multi-cultural event!

Have an amazing Friday night everyone!

Midterms on Monday. Probably won't be checking in much this weekend. Also probably won't make it to the gym. I have not studied for this test so am SO behind. I'm farming my kids out this weekend. Have a great weekend all.

Dallas - NSV = non scale victory

Vixsin - good to have you back! WTG on not binging. Don't worry about the guy - there are other fish in the sea and you deserve a real catch.

Lauren - congrats on losing even with TOM. That is huge!
