I had a major victory yesterday! Our little town recently had a old fashioned candy shop open up. They have homemade fudge in about 10 different flavors. ahh, my weakness..
My 12 yr old stopped there after school and brought home a little bag of fudge and offered it to me. I turned it down! woohoo, happy dance:carrot:
In the past i would have taken that bag of fudge and scarfed it down with no thought!
I was so proud of myself. Small victory I know, but a huge deal to me.

That is no small victory. It is a great, big one.

Just keep at it. Keep on making the right choices and before you know it, you will be one fit, trim, slender, active, healthy mom for that boy of yours.

I know! Isn't it amazing to discover this? The feeling of knowing that you are doing "right by your body". The discipline, the self control; it all actually feels great. Who knew?

That's no small victory! Even reading your post, I was like "Oooh, fudge!". Great job!

Congrats!!!!!!! That is a MASSIVE victory! If those little voices in your head start to make you feel differently...just remind yourself that you can get that fudge any time you want to, you just CHOOSE not to. That's what helps me whenever I'm walking through the bakery isle or the snack isle at the store. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY for you and inspired! Thanks.
