If EVER there was a trigger vent/rant......
 

I am just venting a bit :devil:
I drove 186 miles in the middle of the night last week to rescue my 20 year old daughter from a bad relationship. Nevermind it has totally uprooted her routine (she is a college student and will now miss a semester) and mine (I'll adjust). But just by letting her talk when she's ready, I'm learning little things here and there (I haven't pushed) that I had suspected. :mad: I want to get her four big brothers and give him a real Texas butt whooping :mad:

Staying on plan through all of this has been kinda hard and kinda easy. I haven't really thought too much about eating because I have been getting her settled in. HOWEVER, it has messed up my routine just a little regarding my 2 mile walk each day. She has gone a few times with me already this week, but, dang, we have just been BUSY.

And NOW, that dirtbag is calling her and he's sorry. :devil: Yeah he's sorry alright. I am just trying to keep everything in check and protect her from him.
So, to say that my STRESS level is in the stratusphere is putting it midly...BLAHHHH/GRRRRRRRR

I just pray to God she stays strong and stays firm with him!!!!

(as someone who's been in that type of relationship... I know how easy it is to be a dumb*** in this situation!)

I wish your daughter the best, and that she most definitely doesn't accept his apology! My best friend was nearly killed the one and only time her (now ex) husband beat her. I don't like to say that I want someone to get hurt, but men (and women!) that treat the person they're supposed to love like that make me want to say it.

If anything remember that your regular exercise is the best source of stress relief you could have!

As a college student who has seen several friends deal with abusive relationships, both physical and mental, I'll be thinking about you and your daughter. She's lucky to have such a caring mom!
