Just Got A New Scale

  • Had to get a new scale. So this morning when I got on like I usually do I weighed 3 pounds lighter than my old scale.

So how do I deal with this. I feel like I am cheating when I write the new weight down. I know I did not loose those 3 lbs.

So which do I really weigh now 148 or 145.2.

I know I should probably just forget about it but was just wondering if anyone else had dealt with this before.

  • Take the new weight and make that scale your constant.
  • Subtract 3 pounds from your starting weight on the old scale and go from there on the new scale.
  • Use the new scale and the weight it is showing. Don't obsess over it. As long as you keep track (of gains OR losses) on one scale that is all that matters.

I may have to go buy me a new scale....
  • Annie You made me laugh

Your right I am obsessing over this.

I just need to write it down and go on.

  • If you still have the old scale this is an easy one.
If you have a 5 or 10 lb. weight (or something equivelent -5lb bag of sugar, flour, ect) weigh the item on each scale and trust the one that gives the more accurate reading according to the weight of the item.
    Hope this helps
    Have a wonderful day
