Another water option
 
My daughters put one peppermint tea bag in their liter water bottle when they fill it up, then take it out 1 or 2 minutes later. It doesn't make it into iced tea, but it does give the water a bit of 'body', a freshness, and takes away the tap water flavor they don't like.

might take a few days but you can do it! I love seltzer water too and crystal light raspberry green tea is gooooood :)

Tornado, I have often said I'll die with a Diet Coke in my hand but when I hit 2 liters (and then some) per day and realized that I would get panicky when I was running low...I realized maybe Diet Coke and I had an unhealthy relationship.

As it turns out, cold turkey was not for me. I could not take the slamming headaches and nausea so I'm having one can in the morning for now.

It is really not the caffeine I'm worried about, it's the artificial sweetener and all the other stuff - and it's just WEIRD that I could be that dependent on a soft drink.

Right now I'm having one Diet Coke and coffee in the morning (breakfast of champions. I mean, I do have it with oatmeal but the thing that gets me out of bed is my DC/coffee combo - and I'm down from two of each to one of each), iced decaf green tea (pretty heavily watered down) all day, with the odd Perrier thrown in. I LOVE Perrier and would buy it by the case if I could. Why is the pamplemousse flavor so darn hard to find???

Thanks so much for all the continued advice and encouragement. I beat smoking and fast food, but this is a LOT harder.
